I need a name for my topic in English for a persuasive speech I have to give. I know it's on Darwin's theory, but I'm not really sure what to say about it. My thesis statement is missing in my introduction, but here is that and the topic sentences for the body paragraphs.

Scientists have continued to contort the study for years until now it's completely different. Modern day people know Darwin not for the Origin of the Species, not for his magnificent studies, but for the twisted exploit of a political joke. "(Thesis Statement goes here)"
Body Para. 1:
"Darwin's study started when he was on an oceanic expedition."
Body Para. 2:
"After years of studying species in the Galapagos, Darwin created his theory of Evolution."
Body Para. 3:
"When Darwin's books were published, scientists immediately began to chisel away at his theory, morphing his definition of Evolution into their own."
