what to wear with this skirt?? please HELP?

so i just recently bought this bebe lime green high waist pencil skirt that i loved for being different until i realized, i dont know what to wear it with. any ideas?? top? what color? what shoes? (of course i know it depends on the occasion but lets just say im obviously planning on dressing up since its a dressy skirt) i was thinking dark brown, or a purple or pink or even a black or navy blue top but im not sure. thank you so much for the help =)

brown would be my #1 choice, then maybe navy or black... you've pretty much already got it, although i personally wouldn't do a purple or pink
