what to tlk about on the phone?

ive started tlking to this guy on the phone and i never know what to say.....help me!!! hes always telling me to pick a topic or something...so idk!! today he thought i was 'bored' but i wasnt!!!! i just had no clue what to say!!!! he doesnt go to my school...btw. plese just list some topics or even some jokes i can tell him....THANK YOU!!
and please try and be specific....do just say 'sports' or something=D
