every frigging stylist i been to in the usa, cant cut my hair.. Im asian, i have thick coarse hair with slight wave.. i have medium length hair, mind you im a guy and when i say medium i dont mean all the way down to my shoulders. I tell them to thin it and give me layers, textures.. but when its all said and done.. my hair looks thinned out, very very messy looking, having little hairs sticking out of my skull everywhere.. going left and right... And when i put my hands through my hair it still feels thick!!! But when i was in S.Korea my hair had non of these tiny hair stickin out.. and i could work through my hair with ease... Was soo smooth.. What do i tell my barber??? I have J-pop k-pop hair but now i just a wear a hat.
OMG... stupid answer..

i pay 50 dollar to a supposly a good stylish he came from japan and he suxs..

okay 1st: now that you thinned your hair you are going to need to grow out all of the parts that you thinned.
2nd: dont thin your hair, layer it, it wont damage it and it will make it less thin
also try getting a hot oil treatment to make it smooth again

Go to an actual hairdresser, not a barber. And take in a picture so they understand completely what you want.
