Hello,

Well its day 2 and its hard as hell not to mention i decided to do this while i had a bad cold so i dont know which of the symptoms is coming from what. But one thing is for sure i cant stand this restless leg type feeling. Is there anything you can take to help this? Also i havent been sleeping for crap....what can you take for this...i bought the all natural alteril and it didnt do nothing. I had been taking between 2 and 3 percs a day so not a real bad user and i am not a pill popper just neieve to the reprocutions of this crap so i am going to let my Dr. know just how pissed i am for not telling me how bad this stuff is. My Wife has some stuff called clonazepam i was wondering if this would be something you could take for helping with sleep or would this not be a good idea? I hope everybody is doing good with there addictions and recovery i have great respect for the people on here who have quit cold turkey. I myself i believe are going to be one of them because after i seent his website and started reading your stories it scared the sh...t of out of me. I have only had to take just a half a perc yesturday to help take the edge off i only have 9 left so hopefully i can just have to take halfs to get by.

Hello and welcome Kyle, percocets were also my DOC,so I think were on the same page, except I was taking considerably more than that. As far as the detox goes, I have a few suggestions but keep in mind that these are just from MY experience.
Restless leg syndrome seems to be helped by pottasium, so try to eat bananas or take a supplament if you need to. Hot baths seemed to help too, sometimes I honestly just slept in the tub.
I hate the feeling that sleeping pills give me the next day, so I don't use those anymore. Sometimes a good dose of benadryl will help though. Quite frankly, for the first week or even 2 I was dragging through the days rather I slept or not, so whats the difference? Some people swear by melatonin.
I love mydol. Look for the kind that has acetaminophen and caffeine in it. That helps with the pain and the general sluggish feeling.
I'm not positive if the clonazepam is a benzo or not ( pretty sure it is, right guys?) but i wouldn't take it unless you really needed it. Even then, use it sparingly. You don't want to trade one addiction for another.
Try to take your mind off your own problems as much as you can. Exercise, read a good book, watch a great movie, anything that gets your mind occupied.
I hope that something I said helps you at least a little. Please know that you are not alone in this, we have been there too. It can be done, and the physical withdrawals won't last forever. Good luck to you!!

what ever you md persribes mabey nothing . good luck scott. klonapin will help. an it will all be over soon just hang in there.
