I have just moved to a new home with a small garden that is all dirt no grass. I have a dog and cat that i have had for 9 years i take my dog out to the park twice a day but she has to use the garden loads of times for a wee so does the cat, when it is wet they run it and tread mud everywhere so i have put a big old rug just inside the door which takes some of it off. I was going to lay grass but someone said it will rot and smell with them using it as a toilet. Where i used to live it was all paving stones, but i cant afford to have that done. Can anyone advise me on what they would put down instead of grass, i thought os stones but my dog finds them difficult to walk on. Thankyou
