So I'm going across the country in about a week to visit some colleges. I want to play soccer in college, probably at a D-3 level. The schools that I am looking at are D-3. Because it is the summer after my junior year, I was hoping to meet the coaches when I visited the colleges. I went on all their websites and filled out the prospective student-athlete questionnaires, but those are very general. I want to meet up with the coaches in person. My problem is, I don't know how to phrase the email that I'm sending to ask this. What should I say? Should I add any contact info other than my email? Should I re-iterate my position of choice and my club team's achievements? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
