Does this person have a shop? does this person have any equipment to do this properly? If the answer is yes that they have a tire changer-even a manual one and some way to balance the wheel, then pay them 20.00 If they have to take the wheel off and reinstall it also (another words you are not just bringing the wheel assembly to them) Then pay them 40.00 or so
Even good backyard mechanics have to spend money to purchase tools, equipment etc and their time is certainly worth something. figure the job will take more than 2 hours start to finish if the wheel is on the bike and even on Sunday a person who is doing you a favor should be paid something towards their time and wear and tear on their equipment.
