I am looking for a car for myself. I am 15 years old and will be getting my license in March of next year and I need a car that I can learn how to drive in (both of my parents drive relatively large SUV's and I'm extremely short so I am unable to drive them). We went to a local used car dealership and we found a 2006 Saturn Ion. It was running great at first and then about 5 miles down the road, it broke down. So, needless to say, that isn't the car for me. It has really left me in doubt of the reliability of used cars but I am still willing to give them a try. So, I found another used car being sold by someone who is going into the military soon. It is a 1998 Nissan Sentra. It has a few dents and dings on the outside but I wondering what I should look for under the hood so that I don't go home with a hunk of junk. Any suggestions?
