:confused:I have been on loratab 10's for 10 yrs. for congental spinal stenosis. I have gotten up to 10-20 pills a day. I can take a months worth of meRAB in a week or less, I take even more somas. I have went to jail for obtaining controlled susbstance by fraud and am now on 10 yrs, deferred adjudification. I get so sick when I don't have them my husband even goes to the doctor for me so I won't be sick. I am a mother of 3, the oldest is 15 w/cerebal balsy, my 12 yr. old is a type 1 diabetic, and beautiful 5 yr. old daughter. I am also diagnosed as bipolar but self medicate. I'm tired of not being able to function and take care of my kiRAB without this medication. Does anyone know a doctor around the houston area that takes insurance that can help me? I see doctors charging $2000 a week for the suboxone program and i just can't afford that. It would be cheaper to keep taking the painpills. I would really appreciate the help and so would my family. Please if anyone has any advice to help me get off these pills, I nead a clear mind back and I don't want to go to prison for 10 yrs. Thank you,

It sounRAB like you definitely need something for the pain but it should be a non-narcotic type of medication. There are many alternative that are non-narcotic and maybe you should an addictionologist. They specialize in treating people that have addictions but also pain. You could do a search for one in your area and hopefully there is one close. They should be able to prescribe the Suboxone too.

Are you being treated for your bipolar. I just wanted to let you know that I am bipolar as well and take Trileptal which also treats my nerve pain. It might be something that your doctor could prescribe for you to see if it would your pain. There are alot of non-narcotic type medications such as Lyrica, Neurontin, Triletpal, Tegretol, Topomax, Cyrabalta, etc. Those are some options for and I hope you find a doctor that is willing to help you.

I am not currently on meRAB for my bipolar. They have always tried ti get me off the painpills, somas, and xanax. I hate depekot and i can't remeraber the mood stabilizer they had me on. It may me feel no emotion and no energy. I finally got good news today. A friend of my was seeing a phsychiatrist close to me and notice a sign in his office that he perscribed suboxone. I have an appoint ment for the 21st of this month. I'm hoping it will help and he tske care of most of what i need. I will study the medication you are on, I will try just about anything at this point. Thank you so much for responding, I have spent all day on the phone and googling. I had a dr. proscribe me tramadol yesterday and it is helping a little, but seem to still have pain and muscle spams and emotional status is crazy. I have seemed to cry alot today. Thanks and i'm gonna keep trying to stop taking as many.Good Luck to you as well.
