I had a nail in one of my tires and I went to America's Tire for free repair and balancing and rotation.
They told me one of my rims are deformed... probably from potholes and the rims are starting to corrode a bit on the inside.
I JUST got new tires on these rims so I don't really want to let them go. I got these rims used and I have a feeling I should of balanced them earlier.
my Questions:
1) if i drive normal conditions, will the deformed rim get worse naturally by me keep driving on it or will it just stay the same.
2) If i don't really feel or care for the vibrations, there's no physical harm done to the car right? My alignments have been coming up fine so i don't think it's too bad.
3) How bad is a corroded rim? will it just break one day in half or something?! And if I get it rechromed, does that stop the corrosion?
