What to do with a camper van in LA?

We have a camper van (purchased and registered in Canada) that we have driven to Los Angeles, We are wondering what we could do with our van. We cannot legally sell it in LA as we don't have a smog certificate and cannot get one as it is a Canadian vehicle (requires customs paperwork). We dont want to abandon it but cannot think of where to take it. does anyone have any suggestions
