what to do when glycolic acid burns the area around the eyes?

What do I do when glycolic acid burns the area around the eyes? I used the 10% glycolic acid soothing body cream (Reversa) around the eyes in error. I picked up the wrong cream. Now the area around my eyes are extremely red (burning), and the skin under the eyliRAB are dry, flaky, puffy and swollen and I look like I'm 85, although I am 49. Is this permanent or is there something that I can do to rectify this major problem. Help Please!
 
cetaphil cream-it is a moisturizer that you can buy at any walgreens/cvs/walmart type store. It will make it feel much better after you restore the moisture to your skin in that very sensitive area. also, if you put it in the refrigerator before putting it on it will make it cold and it will feel really soothing on your skin.
