What to do to prevent unwanted data usage on Blackberry Bold?

I have a Blackberry with At&t on a 200MB plan. Im planning on barely using data such as the internet. What are some things that i can do to make sure that no application is unwantedly using data?
what can i do with my email to stop it from using data automatically?
