I am in California, person I am trying to serve is in Florida.
They know I am trying to serve them and are refusing to provide the address in order to be served.
This is concerning a minor child that we both have custody, there are no Court orders against either party.
The other party removed our minor child from California (state of legal residence) without my permission and is now hiding, refusing to provide their address.
Added Info: Please note - I am NOT trying to serve the papers personally.
I know that I cannot serve the subpoena myself, it must be served by another person (will use a legal service) and they will provide a Notice that the other party was served.
But I cannot have them served if they are refusing to provide an address in order to be served.
Also, I know it is illegal to evade being served a Court Summons.
What I am asking is what can I do about it?
I will end up going to the court on Tuesday if the yahoo community cant provide sufficient information.
Please provide SOURCE if you are giving a response, thanks!
