I have no problem with the grants/loans they have given me, but I am not sure what to do with the package. is it required for me send it back? does it mean that the money shown in the package is ready for me to use and how do i use it?
Note: I am about to go to College as a Freshman and I haven't gotten a clue about the financial issue so please help me and take it lightly on me

If it's a private school, you only pay up when they send you a bill (either by post or online). I believe most college loans have been nationalized (my CitiBank Student Loan is now taken care of by the government). Your school should be sending you information regarding the loan (or the government), and they will give you directions on how to take out a loan. The paperwork is minimal. If you're concerned about meal plans and housing costs and things like that, it will all be taken care of with your paying the bill. You'll arrive on campus with your meal card automatically loaded, etcetc. If you go to a public school, I can't say the process is the same since I go to a private school. If so, sorry for wasting your two minutes haha.
