even though i'm only in 8th grade, doesn't mean i'm not being serious. i'm being completely solemn about this.
so my friends chris, elisa, leah, and veronica are all very good friends, we hung out with eachother everyday during lunch. chris and elisa are a couple, they've been dating for 2 years (since 6th grade), but apparently chris got 'bored' of elisa and broke up with her the week before thanksgiving. elisa said chris was her first love, and bawed over him for who knows how many hours.
after chris broke up with elisa he acted like they're relationship was a joke. he asked out my friend samantha twice, but she rejected him both times, but they're still good friends. now samantha, chris, and veronica hang out with eachother during lunch, leaving me and leah with elisa. being the friends that we are we stayed with her ever since. after like, two days she was over chris and dated veronica's older brother who was in 10th grade, anthony. so everything's alright until we came to school on monday (november 29). we asked veronica why she was with chris and samantha because we're better friends with veronica than chris and samantha are. she told us she didn't like elisa and pretended to be her friend for the last 3 years. we were soo mad, not only did she ditch us to hang out with the guy who broke up with elisa, our friend of 4 years, but she pretended to be her friend and never told us anything.
and for the past 5 days chris has been talking a lot of crap about elisa, calling her pizza face, saying that her hairstyle is ugly, calling her a slut, hugging other girls in front of her, etc etc. leah and i are both still friends with chris, but barely talk to him (ever since the breakup). but seriously, just because you broke up with your girlfriend doesn't mean you have to be such a douche. we confronted chris about this and he said "i'm just doing it for fun" i slapped him for this. i was being serious too. we all just stood there in front of eachother, staring at eachother, and said nothing. then i proceeded to yell at him how it's not funny, how it's not attractive, and how it's not right to do something like this. he replied with a "whatever" then walked to class.
so then veronica starts instigating and gives chris money to say mean stuff to her like "you know why the wind blows? because you queef'd (coincidentally it was a windy day)", and other jokes about queefing. not only do me and leah have to deal with this, but the fact that leah's moving in a week is making this situation even worse. i can't handle drama while i have 3 honors classes, tennis practice, and talking to my dad everyday on the phone (he lives across the country), i'm only 13.
basically i just want all four of us to go to the way we used to be, but without chris and elisa dating.
and please take into consideration that both me and elisa are going through depression, i'm not talking about the "emo" phase most pre-teens go through. i'm saying that we're both legitimately depressed. .
i don't know what to do in this position.
