What to do in Los Angeles?

So I'm turning 19 soon (yeah so nothing 21+) and i live in the SFV, so im pretty very close to LA. I was wondering if anyone can suggest any place to go, or any nice restaraunts (nice decorations, but not very expensive)or anything to do. Any suggestions would help! THANKS!
im iffy about 18 and over clubs haha. unless maybe you know one that has great dance music (hiphop/rnb no trans) and is really nice, and thats still iffy.
 
Well you can always wear your kevlar vest and walk through Echo Park or East Los. Or maybe 18th street.
