my house is currently in short sale. im not really sure what that means but i know my parents aren't making anymore payments and the bank has allowed us to live in the house until it is sold. i am assuming that the house is now in the banks property. The problem is that the house is in really poor condition and the realtor doesn't seem to be making much effort to sell the house. The main problems i have with the house right now is the smell and roach problem. The smell might be from the old carpet, mold or most likely both. I was wondering if there would be anyway to make the bank pay for getting the house fumigated and getting rid of the mold. What are my options?
