One of my rims is cracked, and I am going to get it replaced. The replacement is the same size but not identical to the other three. My question is, what kind of maintenance do I need after having the rim replaced? Rotation? Alignment? Everything?
It is a back tire, and it is from hitting a curb. The small piece of it cracked and broke off. I took it to get it looked at the day after the accident, and the people at Hibdon checked the alignment and everything, and told me that they couldn't replace it since they didn't have an identical rim. They told me it was perfectly fine to drive on, and the only problem was the tire might lose air a bit faster. Do I need to worry about the alignment?
