What to do about a lodged earphone bud

Hey. This is kind of embarrasing so here it goes.

I was listening to my iPod when the rubber bud at the tip of my ear phones came loose and i now have it lodged in my ear. I can still hear but i dont know what i should do to get the bud out. i cant go to the doctors yet because my parents have only came in from a night out and i cant drive.

Please some one help me and give me advice. Im really embarrassed and upset about the whole situation
 
Hm.

Well, if it were me I'd probably hit my mom up to see if she can see it and if so if she can (carefully) pull it out with tweezers. If she can't see it or if she thinks it's lodged too deeply for her to safely pull it out, then you're going to have to go to a doctor.

Just be careful and don't let mom push it in any further, if there's any question whether she can get to it or not then don't risk it, ok? You guys can probably wait til tomorrow am and go to Patient First or Urgent Care facility in your area to avoid the ER if ya want. Don't be embarrassed, probably faulty earplugs, not your fault. Now you get new earplugs man!
