What TMobile BB service do I want?

Right now I'm on the 39.99 1500 min/mo plan w/ the 9.99 1000msg plan (use about 600). Picked up a Pearl, want to have internet access and use BB messenger, so I assume at least 1 BB plan.

Do I need to get the BB Unlimited Add On, or would it be the same just adding them separately and saving $4/mo?
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ You need a BB data plan. The Tmo web won't work.
I use minutes and mail, 1000 m, unlimited sms and data for 59.99 I believe is the monthly amount.
 
Yeah just go with the $19.99 add-on plan....in the long run its worth it especially if your going to use some of the BB's main features (internet,blackberry messenger, bb maps, etc) And the TmoWeb is only good for T-zones not the internet.
 
Cool guys, thanks. Signed up for the 19.99 last night and started playing. The features (modem tethering, BB maps, email) are great can't believe I didn't get one sooner.

Question though regarding BB Email. I picked up the phone used, with another gentlemen having BB email set up on the phone already. I set up my 2 email accounts online, one gmail and the other the blackberry. After a softreset everything seems to be working fine I'm getting emails to my gmail account and the confirmation one to my bb email. I tried adding contacts to my BB Messenger though, and they don't seem to be working. Do I have to verify what bb email account the service is trying to use when adding contacts (disable his before I can use mine) or which email will it try to send it from when requesting contacts?
 
Yeah I do that, I go to BB Messenger, then to go New Contact and it goes to my address book to add from an address entered. I go down to my buddy's name which has his BB Messenger email intered to it already, select it, then it goes to the confirmation screen that sends a message requesting the add. Send the message, then it goes to pending.

My question is though, which email address is this using to send the request? Is it sending from the original email acct set up on the phone (the original owner who is no longer active), or one of my 2 email addresses? I can't find an option to set what email its using to send the request and my friends aren't seeing the requests.
 
Just got off the phone with TMo. Apparently PIN was still linked to previous owners account. She swapped it over to mine, but said it could take up to 72 hrs to go through; so until that finishes I don't think I'll be able to use the messenger.

Anyone else getting their BB to connect to vista but with local access only? I can connect to the internet through the phone now, send emails, browse, but I can't do it through the computer. Went through the steps in email sent by TMo and got to connect with 4.2 SP2, but can't browse from the laptop. I'm thinking this might be because of the same issue as the BB Messenger.

Also, anyone know how to get rid of an email account that is still on the phone? Will this disappear once the PIN is linked correctly or is there an option I'm missing somewhere to get it off the phone?
