I have a 98 Explorer, V6, 2 Dr. that I bought used. The tires that were on the vehicle when I purchased it were Goodyear 255/70R16. This is not the original size. I am wondering 1) why a different size from the original would be used? 2) if I were to purchase new tires, what size and brand should I buy? Thanks.
