What tips are good for green River Fishing?

Im fishing at Green River in Washington. Im using a rubber worm with 2 hooks, but I see people using bobbers on the river too? the river is roughly 2-4ft deep, and moving somewhat fast. Any tips for river fishing? as what is good to use for trout/salmon, lure types? weights no weights?
