I miss bands like Spice Girls, S Club 7, and songs like Can't Fight the Moonlight, Complicated, I Want It That Way.
I know these days those kind of songs are classed as 'uncool' and in a way they are... but who cares, they are melodically great and that's what counts! That's why it's called MUSIC. Lyrics are good and powerful but on their own they are just poems and nobody wants an iPod full of poems.
Can anyone suggest any good pop songs of late? I CAN think of a few myself for those out there wondering the same thing about pop music. "Would You Care" by Katy Perry (and The Matrix), "No Air" by Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown, "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus.
See they're still out there, but are hard to come by unlike 8 years ago when it was the only thing playing on the radio and it was awesome!
