What the heck is "The Gator"?

Okay, does anyone know what "The Gator" is? I'm going to a party this Friday at a club in OKC where they do "The Gator" at midnight. When I ask my friends (regulars of the bar) what it is, they just laugh and say "you'll see". Anyone have any idea what it is?

Sorry, I don't know the name of the club, but I'll try to find out.

All i can think of is Florida Gators Football Champions LOL.
Wait.. could this be related? http://gatortimes.ufl.edu/2008/04/13/second-annual-midnight-fun-run/ lol dates don't match up?
