What the heck is jungle music?

I've come across the term while reading stuff online, and I have acquaintances who swear it's the sh**. I know it's some kind of electronic music, but from what I've found on YouTube, it seems pretty generic and I don't understand what all the fuss is about. However, I could simply be hearing the wrong stuff. Could you link me to some of what you would consider prime examples of this kind of music?

While I'm at it, what is dubstep??
