I'm going fishing tomorrow evening in a creek that runs through central Texas called Onion creek and I'm not even sure what king of perch are there. My plan so far was to use live night crawlers as bait and along with a sinker, drop my line in just off to the side of some brush and jig it up and down. I haven't been fishing in years and I've only caught one small fish in freshwater. I've just been doing a bit of reading and that's what I thought I might have the best luck doing. Anything helps!
What the best technique to catching perch?
