I have an Orion Starblast 4.5 telescope that has a 17mm lens and a 6mm lens. When I look threw the 17mm lens, everything looks nice and pretty, but when I use the 6mm lens, I can see much closer to the objects that I'm pointing at.
I don't quite understand the numbers on the lenses so I need some help. With the 17mm lens I see Saturn as a shining object. When I use the 6mm lens, I see Saturn but I can also make out it's rings.
So if I want to get even CLOSER, would I buy 5mm, 4mm, 3mm, 2mm, 1mm?
Also, can someone explain Shorty Barlow lenses?
