what substances can be used in the military? I DON'T WANT TO BE JUDGED!!!?

I can't smoke cannabis,like I used to (which I believe is safer than both tobacco and alcohol) because I am in the process of signing to the U.S. Air Force. I was just wondering,are there any substances,other than tobacco and alcohol,that the military does NOT test for? Also,is it true that Absinthe is legal here now?
