I'm in my sophomore year of high school, and I want to be prepared for getting my Ph.D in history. What steps should I be taking (what classes should I be taking, how many credits will be needed, important subjects, good universities/colleges to pick from, things that will be required of me and anything else helpful).
I've wanted to be a History Professor ever since I was about six, and it's my true dream job. Any advice will be very welcome and thank you in advance.
