many small unintentional bleeding cuts on hands. Something that can be done by a medieval character, possibly by not paying attention and is not whittling.
I need this for a piece of fiction, the blood is intended to disturb another character but not to be overly noticed by the character that is bleeding, who can either be too concentrated on the task to notice or too concentrated on something else. Which doesn't really matter...
The point being, I need an activity that can plausibly cause such small injuries, preferably one that does not involve carving wood in any way a can be done while seated. I also prefer it not be sharpening or polishing weapons. Those being the ideas I already came across and discarded.
