I feel a sense of deja vu when I hear this song and don't know why. Yes the song itself reminds me of loves I have had, but when I hear it I get a feeling of having heard either the melody or tone of the song, the strong restrained emotion, the pauses, the bursts of strong emotion unrestrained after a breath-taking pause, or the message of the song. I can't put my finger on it. And being mid-to-early 40's in age the sense of deja vu could be coming from a song way back. I get the feelings of being at school dances in the gym in the late 70s and or anytime through the 80s but the music/song could be older. I even get a very Elvis-y feel from this song but I don't know. Maybe even from the early 90s in my bar visiting days, but I doubt any earlier than the early 90s. Can you suggest anything that it might be?
