What smartphone should I get with the best reception?

I am looking to get a new phone. I need to access e-mail with MS doc's while I travel. My company uses Blackberry's but for some reason I just don't find their phones exciting. My worry is that I won't be able to have support through my company for my phone unless I stick with the BB. I am reasonably techy & can handle most of my computer issues. I think I should at least look at BB conect phones like the Nokia's. My company uses Lotus Notes as an interface with our e-mail but I still prefer & use outlook instead. We deal with XLS & Word doc's only, everyonce in a while there is a .jpeg attachment. I need my phone to synch up with outlook as well. I could use a POP for my e-mail but don't want to be on the web all the time to get my e-mail. I also need Bluetooth for my headset.

My main priority is signal quality. I am on Nextell now using a 870i phone & will be switching to Cingular as I am told it is the best service for my area of Maine & NH. The Nextell is HORRIBLE, the service has improved since Sprint but the reception is weak. The phone has NO signal in my house unless I am on the top floor. I am dropping calls constantly lately, just seems to be getting worse. My new phone has to have better signal quality, it is my number one reason for switching carriers. I think the Nextell phones just always have a weak signal.

Next I would like to condense my PDA into my phone, similar to the Cingular 8125. I like the MS apps I have on my Dell Axium. If I can ditch the Dell & get it done on my phone I am all for it. The problem with the Cingular besides no BB connect is the phone looks difficult to dial with one hand while driving. I drive about 500 miles a week & spend about 1500-2000 minutes a month on the phone.

Finally, I wouldn't mind web browsing and/or wi-fi. The less I have to carry the better. If I can get some web surfing done while waiting for a client why not.

I guess that's it, I don't really know if this phone exists. One part of me thinks I should just stick with a BlackBerry & deal with the same old boring phone with boring apps. Hopefully it is at least powerfull enough to get better reception in my home which also serves as my office. Am I asking too much of a phone? Should I try something new?

Is there a PDA/Smartphone that is easy to dial with one hand, that has Bluetooth & will let me open Microsoft e-mails as dependable as a BlackBerry with more exciting features for a younger guy?
