what size speakers would fit in a 2002 ford taurus?

i have the factory speakers and everything in there. the sound ballance is great, however it doesn't have the volume i want. i want to almost blow the windshield off [metaforically speaking of cource]...any ideas?
 
if its loudness you want get a 4 channel amp that will put out at least 50 watts or more rms to each speaker, then upgrade your speakers to be able to handle the power.
the amp would cost anywhere from $100- $500
the speakers would cost between $50- $200 a pair
depending on the brand
