what size rim do I need?

i have a 93 chevy half ton 4x4. I have the stock size tire in it 245/75/16. I want to get some BF Goodrich Km2 m/t's in a 285/75/16. I am on the fence about buying new rims but if i do I am staying with 16's. If i get this wider tire will i have to get new rims or can I roll with stock rims ?
