What size fish tank for two fish?

I have two fish ( a comet goldfish and a red cap oranda) and I keep them in a small bowl. Im gonna get a 10l tank with a filter and stuff very soon. Is 10l big enough???

They are really tiny!!! They wont grow much more!! No way are they 12 inches!! The red cap is about 2inches and the goldfish is abou 3 or 4!
Listen, i got it in a pet shop, they said hey are grand with orandas sooo i probably got it mixed up with a different type. I am an eejit. Its just a little fishy. Im sorry that was stupid.
 
The Comet needs a several hundred gallon pond and will grow large enough to fatally injure the smaller more delicate Oranda.

The Oranda needs at least a 15-20 gallon (56 litres plus) just for itself with a filter for double that.

Comets should be considered strictly pond fish or for over 65-75 gallons only.

A 10L is too small for ANY fish let alone huge messy Goldfish!

edit: yes they will grow, you cannot cheat genetics. Comets WILL get over 10"-12", the Oranda will get 6"-8". That's if you provide them with the correct environment.

If you refuse to do that they will die as babies long before they can achieve their potential.
 
No, that's much too small. Both of those goldfish can grow to 12 inches (probably longer than the tank). You need at least 40 gallons (160L) to accomodate those fish.

All fish start out tiny, but some grow more than others. Those fish can live 7 to 14 years and they keep growing throughout their lives. Look at the links below for their adult sizes. They're already too big for a 10L tank at their current sizes. It's amazing they're still alive living in a small bowl.
