what size bike should i get or what kind?

I am a female about 6 feet tall and i just want i bike over the summer to ride to and from work. I don't want a bike with those curved handles though.

I would prefer to have lots of space because my legs are really long 37' inseam. and i want to sit up right when i ride because i have back problems. can anyone give me a hand

Sorry for my lack of knowledge about the biking lingo.
 
Take a look at hybrid bikes at your local bike shop. They will have the 700c tires that are efficient on the road and an upright sitting position. Stay away from Walmart and other department store bikes they will be too small and the quality is poor. Check out Trek, Specialized, Giant, Raleigh, Fuji, Jamis, Felt, and a few others. Here is an example of what they look like. You are probably looking at a 24 inch frame but they will fit you at the store.
