What should we pack for a day fishing trip?

We are going for a day fishing trip what all should we pack oh it's me and my parents and yonger sibings

sunscreen, sandwiches, bring a cooler for drinks... uhm, bring some beef jerky, bags a chips.... light things that aint all that heavy. maybe like some cookies and gum.
oh yeah - dont forget your reel and rod please - or it will be a very boring day for ya.
