The boot camp trainer that I was assigned in preparation for an employment test at a cadet camp sent me an e-mail telling me to report to the local training facility on Monday for an initial evaluation/test, focusing on calisthenics. He told me precisely what to wear--down to my socks and underwear--but said that I should bring no other bags or belongings with me. Should I bring a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to wear for the evaluation any way? He told me to come dressed in a plain button-down shirt, jeans, running shoes, white socks and briefs, but I won't be able to do calisthenics and other test exercises in this. Any suggestions? Also, I apparently have to take off my shoes after I arrive and leave them with the officer at the reception counter. Should I bring an extra pair for indoors, or am I supposed to be in my socks?
