What should I use to strip the paint off a metal door?

My front door is metal and the paint is peeling off in one place (it's a couple of square inches), so I guess I have to strip it all off and start from scratch before painting it again. Can anybody tell me how I should go about this? I hope I don't have to sand it all by hand.
