I am a senior in high school and I originally was going to become an engineer, but I couldn't see myself enjoying my job (and I struggle with calculus).
I decided that I want to become a law enforcement officer. The officers in the town that I live in make about $41,000 before taxes. What I am unsure of is whether or not I should be a city cop or a highway patrol officer. In college, I plan on studying even more spanish, since I have taken four years in my high school.
I know that where I live, police officers do not need a college education. The officers that did attend collage went for criminal justice, but they said there are better courses now. I was wondering what some of these courses could be, and if they can increase my salary?
