I have had a tablet computer for years now, but if I want to still be able to draw I need a replacement. I was wondering if getting a graphic tablet instead would be a good choice? I have been looking at the Intuos and Cintiq systems. I would be using it for slight photo adjustments, but mainly for drawing. I do not do this for a job, but as an outlet. My main concern is over using a graphing tablet that I will need to look at a monitor while drawing. Is this easy to get used to? What are some suggestions on some good models? As of now I don't want to get another computer, simply because you are limited on upgrading software and upkeep can be expensive.
What should I replace my tablet computer with that I use for drawing?
