I got my license to do hair 6 months ago. I still haven't found a job and want to try to get business on my own for the experience. I will do hair out my house but don't want to put my address on the card. I put a reference of where I am located, along with my phone number, email address and listed a few of the services I do. I haven't had one person call me. I still don't want to put my address but I am sure I can do something different to attract clients. A friend of mine suggests creating a facebook account and putting on their some of my before and after shots and list all the services I do as well as a price list.
How does this sound? Do you recommend I do this? What else do you suggest?
