Ok well i started doing track this season and found out that i am a really good long distance runner. Maybe good enough to get a scholarship senior year BTW ima freshmen right now. The thing is if you want to be a good distance runner for track you almost have to do cross country.Overall with Summer training Cross country Winter training and Track your pretty busy all year round. Also btw i used to just play football and was mediocre maybe above average at it. i love hanging out with friends and doing stuff after school and just having all the freedom which you don't get with this sport. Also i have a good group of friends that do track but they don't like to do a lot of the stuff i do with other friends...you know teenager stuff
(don't worry nothing bad i promise). So i could either quit sports. Do a smaller sport like football or fighting classes (which for both i am almost positive i wont get a scholarship for) or just continue with track and cross. My parents cant afford to send me to a really nice college. I want to be an entomologist as my future profession. I am usually an A and B student with maybe a C here and there. If i tried my very very best i could get straight As with a B here and there (hard with Cross and Track). Non of the teenager stuff will affect me in anyway in my grades or sport abilities (trust on this I am smarter than the average teen and have really good parents) so what do you think i should do???
