What Should I Paint?!?

I've got a painting due on the 16th. I DESPERATELY need an Idea. None of that "Look inside of yourself and see what inspires you." Stuff. Does anyone have some solid ideas for me? This painting is being submitted in a nation - wide contest so it has to be somewhat attention grabbing.

This is going to sound very corny, but why don't you paint all the stuff that goes through your head when you are trying to come up with something to paint? What I mean is that you paint fragments of ideas of what you could paint in the background, and have a white canvas, some paints and brushes, and you in the foreground.
