a place on a map for some,
home to many others,
laughing, loving, living,
a happy home,
and then the winds blew,
hurricane katrina,
sorrow, fear, anxiety,
houses flooded, friends dead, terrible memorys,
everything dear to you,
gone,
like a footprint in the sand,
washed away
