What should I major in with a passion for U.S. History (especially colonial times)?

I don't know what I should major in. Yes, I could major in History, but what about political science? which is better? or what else is there?

and, more importantly WHAT KIND OF JOBS could i get with a major in U.S. History? (I already know lawyer, politician, etc. anything more specific?) I'm really confused. Thanks!
