I am looking for a new bike in the 250-350$ range from Sport-Mart or Sport-Chek, and I am wondering what should I be looking for to make sure that the bike is good? One thing I've noticed is that some bikes have regular brakes while others have disk brakes. Are disk bakes better than regular brakes? My friend said that disk brakes are terrible for bikes in my price range, is that true? Lastly, do you have any tips for buying a bike? Thanks!
