I wanted a 92-96 3000gt because they were fast and sleek, but i was talked out of it. I heard they break constantly and the repair cost is high. I was told with a few tweaks i could get an 92-96 Acura integra to go just as fast and look just as cool as a 3000gt with being cheaper to fix and more reliable.

So what do you think i should get? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Both cars are the same price BTW

depends...personally ima Honda/Acura guy (i own a 03 Civic Si) but i like the 3000GTs nd if the 3000GT is a VR-4 even better since its a twin turbo but is a V-6

integras aint badd...got a lot of parts out there nd engine mods the possibilities are endless with it since you could swap engines do conversions to just bout anythin on it

You pretty much are leaning towards the Integra Side. Anyways, a 3000gt is good if it has been maintained properly, the are fast, whether you get the Base or Turbo model, and can be made to be very nice and appealing looking cars, but they are heavy as hell. The Integra can actually be as fast as a 3000gt or even faster simply because of weight. A few select upgrades can get you to about the same numbers ( if you have that kind of money) and you will be able to smoke any 3000gt. Plus you have all the reliability of Honda cars so you will be enjoying an Integ alot longer than if you take the 3000GT.

Its all up to you, Get a car that already has the numbers but will be requiring you to empty your pockets often(3000gt) or a car that doesnt have the same numbers but has a lot of potential, will last you a long time if properly maintained(Integ). Think about it, would you rather be spending your money on parts you need for you car to JUST BE ABLE TO RUN, or parts that will have you car RUNNING FASTER?
